## Facts

- **Availability:** AskDona Pro feature, generally available since **July 1, 2026**.
- **What it does:** takes a list of assessment items (for example an Excel checklist or questionnaire), checks each item against the organization's documents (policies, procedures, design documents, records), and returns for each item: a proposed judgment, the reasoning, the supporting passages, the source references, and any information that is missing.
- **Scale:** designed to search across thousands to millions of documents.
- **Input format:** existing Excel-based checklists and evaluation sheets can be used as they are.
- **Repeatability:** once criteria and output format are set, the same assessment can be re-run.
- **Human role:** the AI makes the first pass; people review the evidence and make the final decision.
- **Patent:** the processing method is patented in Japan (Japanese Patent No. 7874919).
- **[Outdated — marked 2026-10-15]** **Published results (proof of concept):** on a system risk assessment of about 400 items, judgment accuracy above 90% across four categories ("addressed", "not addressed", "out of scope", "cannot determine"). In production use, the workload of the target tasks fell by 45% on average.
  - **[Outdated — marked 2026-10-21]** **Updated (15 Oct 2026):** the AskDona Assessment Solution Manual (15 Oct 2026) reports a customer security-assessment PoC as approximately 300 criteria and 100 target systems, with over 91% accuracy and 45% reduction in assessment effort — internally reported, case-specific metrics, not independently verified platform guarantees. Its SaaS example labels are "addressed", "not addressed", "not applicable" and "cannot determine".
    - **Updated (21 Oct 2026):** the customer case (JSOL Corporation, system risk assessment) covered roughly 400 evaluation criteria, with judgment accuracy above 90% and an average 45% reduction in effort per system, as stated on https://askdona.com/en/use-cases/security-assessment/. These are case-specific results, not platform guarantees.
- **[Outdated — marked 2026-10-21]** **Typical uses:** third-party risk and information-security assessments, evaluation against vehicle specifications, internal audit, compliance checks, quality evaluation.
  - **Updated (21 Oct 2026):** the website's use cases are Security Assessment (system risk assessment, JSOL case), Supplier Assessment (supplier evidence against defined requirements) and Regulatory Assessment (compliance gaps across regulatory documentation). The vehicle-specification and document-extraction use-case pages were replaced by Supplier Assessment and Regulatory Assessment. Under Solutions, assessment work is grouped as gap, risk and controls assessment.
